Application form to celebrate civil legal wedding, civil partnership or symbolic ceremony

A chi è rivolto

The service is aimed at couples (future spouses) who meet the following requirements:

  • Both couples must be over 18 or 16 years of age with the approval of the Children’s Court
  • be of free status: unmarried/unmarried, divorced/s, widowed/s.

Descrizione

The request for the celebration of civil marriages, civil unions and symbolic ceremonies at the Town Hall or external communal offices must be submitted by the parties, using the form attached to these provisions, also by email to demografico@comunedianacapri.it, at least thirty days before the date of the ceremony, at the Civil Status Office.
The said office, within ten days of receipt of the request, will issue the authorization or notification of unavailability.
If more than one request is submitted for the same day and time, priority will be given to the first registered request.
After receiving the availability of the day and time, applicants undertake to pay the amount of the tariff, if provided, through PagoPA.

The reservation will be effective when the applicants hand over the receipt of payment of the corresponding fee to the civil status office, also by e-mail to demografico@comunedianacapri.it.
Applicants who use a wedding planner agency or third parties for the processing of the ceremony, must send an e-mail to the address above.
In the case of civil marriage of citizens resident on Italian territory, the authorization is always subject to publication and in the case of marriage by proxy of another municipality, The couple must produce the original of the delegation of the applicant Municipality or the same can be received by pec to demografico.comunedianacapri@pec.it directly from said Municipality.
For AIRE members, the delegation must be sent to this office by the competent consulate.
For the establishment of civil union ex L. n. 76/2016, the provisions set out in DPCM n.144 of 23/07/2016 are observed.

For foreign citizens, the civil status officer must be sent a certificate of consent to marriage in the original form issued by the competent authorities pursuant to art. 116 Cod. Civ. If one or both foreign citizens do not know the Italian language, it is their responsibility to indicate an interpreter who will be hired by the civil status officer to perform this role, after taking the oath

 

THE MUNICIPAL VENUES FOR MARRIAGE CEREMONY

The available Council Venues for the celebration are:


Town Hall, 30 Caprile Street;
Belvedere della Migliera, Faro di Punta Carena side or Marina Piccola side;
Belvedere dei Sognatori, Faro di Punta Carena;
Belvedere Fortino, Faro di Punta Carena;
Belvedere Damecuta;
Centro Multimediale Mario Cacace, Giuseppe Orlandi Street;
Belvedere Chiesetta di Cetrella;
Belvedere Axel Munthe; (only in the afternoon)
Villa Rosa, Viale Axel Munthe;
The venues will be at the disposal of the Ceremony only for one hour from the authorized time.

Please kindly note that the celebration during the weekend is on request and it is subject to
availability.

Symbolic ceremonies

For so-called symbolic ceremonies, which have no legal or civil value, the same provisions shall also apply with regard to places, days, times and rates. In addition, a copy of the promise and/or the text desired by the couple must be delivered well in advance for the organizational follow-up.
The parties are also required to inform in advance the civil registry office if they need the preparation provided by the municipality, in particular, the table, the white tablecloth, the two chairs and the celebrant.

Various

The municipality provides for the ceremony a table, a white tablecloth, two chairs and the log with flags.
The parties may, at their own expense, provide for a small set-up that, however, does not incorporate other cases requiring specific authorization from the competent offices and which, at the end of the ceremony, they will take care to remove in full and promptly.
Please note that in case of use of music (played, sung or in any way reproduced) during the ceremony you must have permission from SIAE. It is absolutely forbidden to leave on the place of the ceremony rice, confetti, confetti or other inside and outside the authorized spaces. A small refreshment is allowed within the limits and authorized times, committing to leave the premises in decent conditions.
The ceremony authorisation shall cover only the activities, spaces and times granted and authorised for the ceremony, it does not exempt from compliance with the general provisions issued by the Municipality of Anacapri relating to the occupation of public land beyond the authorized spaces and the necessary time, of the ordinances and regulations in force of the Urban Police Command concerning public order and traffic, transit and stop from and to the places of the ceremony.

Therefore, if necessary, specific authorizations should be provided. In the event of damage to places and/ or things granted for the celebration or violations of any kind, the amount thereof, unless the identification of the direct responsible, will be charged to the applicant subject to current legislation.

The fees for the celebration of marriage are as follows (G.C. n. 11 of 26/01/2022)
 

a) At the Town Hall in via Caprile 30:

  • on weekdays and during working hours
    (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, 10:30-13:00 / Mon and Tue 15:30-18:00):
    The fee payable is:
    for residents € 0.00;
    for non-residents € 300,00;

     

  • on weekdays outside working hours
    (Mar., Thu., Fri. 15:30-19:00 / Mon., Wed., 18:00-19:00):
    The fee payable is:
    for residents € 100,00;
    for non-residents € 400,00;

 

  • on holidays and pre-holidays (10:30-13:00/15:30-19:00)
    The fee payable is:
    for residents € 200,00;
    for non-residents € 500,00;


b) At the locations outside the Town Hall:

  • on the same days and at the same times as referred to in point a)
    The fee payable is:
    for residents of € 300,00;
    for non-residents € 800,00;
